59 outlaws arrested

KOHAT, Nov 23: Police have arrested 59 outlaws during a drive against anti-social elements and seized arms and CDs of obscene films, according to a press release here on Wednesday. The campaign was launched on the directives of DIG Kohat region Abdul Majeed Marwat.

Five of the detained outlaws were wanted in murder and robbery cases.

They were identified as Sahib Gul, Tahir Shah, Ayub Khan, Momin Shah and Rehman Gul.

The arms seized during the raids included two Kalashnikovs, one Kalakov, 15 pistols, one repeater, three rifles and dozens of obscene CDs, TV sets and tape recorders.
