Faisal nears century

LAHORE, Nov 22: Test reject Faisal Iqbal guided Karachi Harbour into a position of strength with an unbeaten 96 against Lahore Ravi on the second day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League fixture at the LCCA Ground on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old nephew of Pakistan great Javed Miandad helped Karachi Harbour reach 270 for five in reply to Lahore Ravi’s first innings’ tally of 240.

Faisal slammed 13 boundaries during his 126-ball innings.

Opener Asif Zakir also made a useful contribution of 47 after the visitors started the day at two without loss.
