KARACHI: The admissions process for all private medical and dental colleges and universities in Sindh began on Wednesday with the launch of an online portal for applications by Jinnah Sindh medical University (JSMU).
The deadline for submission of applications is Jan 20.
According to Director Admissions at JSMU Dr Fatima Abid, all candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes are invited to submit their complete academic details, along with official documents on the official web portal at (http://www.jsmu.edu.pk)
They are required to submit their preference/s of institution in order.
“JSMU is following the policy of accepting 50 per cent marks in the national MDCAT examination as directed by the provincial health minister,” said a press release quoting Acting Vice Chancellor JSMU Prof Shahid Rasul.
