Rockets, bombs seized

QUETTA, Nov 22: The Frontier Corps has seized a large number of rockets and mortar bombs in the Mungochar area of Kalat district in a raid. However, no arrest has been made.

A statement issued here on Tuesday by the Frontier Corps said that acting on a tip, a raiding party was dispatched to Ghaorizai suburb of Khaliqabad and Gorki where it found the weapons, including 26 rocket launchers, 15 Kalashnikovs, six rifles and 158 mortar bombs, besides 56 grenades, 27 rocket shells and a large quantity of rifle ammunition. The statement asserted that the weapons and ammunition had been stockpiled for use in subversive activities. — Correspondent
