KARACHI: Pemra sends relief goods

KARACHI, Nov 22: Chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) Iftekhar Rasheed on Monday saw off a convoy of relief goods dispatched to quake-affected areas.

The relief goods, including jackets and quilts worth Rs1.5 million and loaded in two trucks, have been contributed by owners of TV channels and FM radio stations, as well as cable operators.

Talking to newsmen on the occasion, the Pemra chief said that another relief consignment would be dispatched soon.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were Rana Altaf Majeed, Shahbaz Ali Mali, Shahab Zuberi and Tahir A. Khan.—APP
