LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party Sindh president on Friday criticised the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and other allies of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for lending their support to the federal government on the Finance (Supplementary) Bill, 2021.

In his statement, he said PTI’s allies were equally responsible for yet another storm of price hike and inflation that would hit the masses with the passage of the bill. “It would further chain people, who have already been squeezed. The GDA, MQM-P and other allies of PTI, posing to be worried about people’s sufferings and sorrows, have lent support to the [federal] government by betraying people in this legislation. They must stop this drama as they have now stood exposed,” he said.

He observed that Pakistan was now surviving under a huge burden of loans that were causing price spiral.
