PPP leader’s son kidnapped

SAHIWAL, Nov 20: The son of a PPP leader was kidnapped over some property dispute on Sunday by seven armed men in Chak 118/12-L. Reports said that Humayun Sikandar was going to Kassowal by his motorcycle when armed accused Nawaz, Zulfiqar and their accomplices intercepted him and took him away with them.

Kassowal police have registered a case against the accused on the report of Faisal, the brother of Humayun.

POLIO DROPS: A three-day anti-polio drive will start in Sahiwal from Nov 22.

Around 44 teams will administer polio drops and vitamin A to 340,000 children up to the age of five years.

This was disclosed in a meeting chaired by District Nazim Rai Hassan Nawaz here.
