PESHAWAR: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will hold a public rally against rising prices of essential commodities in Peshawar on Saturday (today).

A statement said that PDM president Maulana Fazlur Rehman would lead the rally.

PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, Qaumi Watan Party chairman Aftab Sherpao, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party president Mahmood Khan Achakzai and other central leaders of the alliance would address the participants.

According to the statement, the rally would start from JUI-F’s provincial secretariat on Ring Road and proceed to the city. The alliance media coordinator, Abdul Jalil Jan, said that arrangements for the rally had been finalised.
