Pakistan has reported 231 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, down from 391 a day earlier, as the positivity rate fell below one per cent for the second time this week.
The positivity rate has remained below two per cent since Oct 15.
The countrywide breakdown during the last 24 hours is as follows:
- Punjab: 89 cases, 5 deaths
- Sindh: 29 cases, 1 death
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 74 cases, 4 deaths
- Balochistan: 8 cases
- Islamabad: 26 cases, 1 death
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 0 cases and deaths
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 5 cases
