PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday condemned the brutal murder of social worker, Mohammad Zada Agrawal, and called for enacting legislation for punishing the people involved in narcotics smuggling.

While speaking at a point of order in the assembly, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Pir Masoom Shah said that social worker Mohammad Zada Agrawal was killed on Nov 8 in Dargai area of Malakand for raising voice against the drug mafia, kidnappers and other social evils prevailing in the society. He said that the PTI government had taken timely action to transfer the deputy commissioner, Malakand, and the assistant commissioner, Dargai, and had also arrested the three suspected killers.
