Yasir Hameed smashes century

PESHAWAR, Nov 15: Yasir Hameed hammered a punishing stroke-filled 174 to help Peshawar score 307 for the loss of four wickets against Multan on the opening day of the four-day Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League championship at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Opener Yasir’s 201-ball knock included 23 boundaries and a towering six and was involved in a 268 runs third wicket partnership with Aftab Khan who made a compact 93.

Kamran Hussain, a left-arm medium pacer, was pick of Multan bowlers taking three wickets for 48 runs in 20 overs.
