GUJRAT: Police on Thursday arrested a group two men for impersonating as policemen and making objectionable videos of children by stripping them and harassing them.

Asad Gujjar, a spokesman for Gujrat police, told Dawn that District Police Officer (DPO) Umar Salamat had found a video of three men in police uniform, making some children hostage in a room. The children were stripped by the suspects who were seen hurling threats and abuses to harrass the victims.

After some initial probe, the DPO tasked Lalamusa City Station House Officer Tahir Hussain with tracing and arresting the suspects involved in the incident.

Police identified all three suspects and arrested two of them, namely Ali Hassan Bosal and Zakaullah of village Wehnd, from a house near Lalamusa Vegetable Market. They are conducting raids to arrest the third suspect.

A case has also been lodged against the suspects under sections 292C, 342 and 171 of Pakistan Penal Code on the report of ASI Muhammad Afzal of the Rehmania Police Station.
