LAHORE: A team of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday erased all the structures of an illegal housing society on Defence Road.
LDA Director General Ahmad Aziz Tarar directed the private housing schemes department officials to take measures against the mushroom growth of illegal colonies.
The team found Alkhaliq Residentia illegal and started operations there. The team razed the entire structure including roads, sewerage and building.
A heavy police contingent was also present during the operation.
