Power supply cut

MIRPURKHAS, Nov 14: Power supply to Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Tharparkar districts was suspended on Monday morning from the Hala grid station, Hyderabad. Report said the supply suspended at 9am could be restored at 12.30pm. When contacted, a Hesco official said that a fault had developed in the high-tension power line near Tando Jam, forcing Hesco to observe a shutdown for its repair.

BAN: Entry of unconcerned persons in examination centres for PTC, CT, BEd, matriculation, FA, BA, BSc, PIT, BBA and post-graduate courses of Allama Iqbal Open University has been banned.—Correspondent
