Two bandits arrested

NAWABSHAH, Nov 14: Nawabshah and Sanghar police claimed on Monday arresting two bandits and seizing two Kalashnikovs and a huge quantity of bullets after an encounter in Sanjar Bhangwar village near Nawabshah. A large police contingent took part in the operation supervised by Nawabshah DPO Dr Sarwar Jamali, Sanghar DPO Ajmal Khan Magsi and Saddar TPO Aijaz Tareen.

The bandits who were hiding in the house opened fire on police which was retaliated by the police.

As a result, DPO Sanghar’s gunman Ghulam Sarwar Kalhoro was injured and was admitted to the People’s Medical College Hospital Nawabshah.

The encounter lasted about five hours.

The arrested bandits were identified as Pir Bux alias and Khan Mohammad Bhangwar.
