HYDERABAD, Oct 15: The Institute of Women Development Studies, University of Sindh, in collaboration with the institute of Sindhology and Women Councillors of the area is organizing a Mina Bazaar on Oct 29 at the Institute of Sindhology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

Handicrafts of the rural women will be displayed in the Mina Bazaar.

The main objective of organizing the Mina Bazaar is to encourage the rural women of Sindh province.

Federal Minister for Women Development, Social Welfare and Special Education, Dr Atiya Innayatullah will inaugurate the Mina Bazaar, while the vice chancellor, University of Sindh, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, will preside at the inaugural ceremony.

BISE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, on Monday has announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I (Class XI) of Humanities group regular/private annual examinations, 2001.

According to facts, 4,267 candidates appeared in the examination out of which only 1,202 were declared pass in all the papers, while 30 were declared fail in all. The results of 127 candidates has been withheld by the conduct branch, while that of 93 has been withheld due to cheating.

The controller of examinations has notified that the original marks certificates of the candidates will be dispatched within 15 days of the announcement of result.

In case of a doubt by any candidate that there was an error in his/her marks sheet, he/she could get it rectified by submitting an application to the controller duly forwarded by the head of the institution concerned within a period of 12 weeks after which no application would be entertained.
