QUETTA: The passing out parade of the 65th batch of Frontier Corps recruits was held at a school of the FC training centre, Loralai, in which 2,518 recruits, who have completed their training, participated.

Deputy Special Inspector General of Frontier Corps, northern Balochistan, Brigadier Ahmed Nawaz, was the special guest at the occasion. He took the salute of the passing out parade.

The 2,518 recruits who passed out after undergoing military training included 25 per cent people from Balochistan, 17pc from Punjab, 5pc from Kashmir, 30pc from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 14pc from Gilgit-Baltistan and 9pc from Sindh.

The duration of their training was about 24 weeks in which they were given basic military training with a focus on acquisition of skills in firing, physical fitness and non-conventional warfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Nawaz appreciated the training of recruits and urged them to face the challenges ahead with courage and determination.
