DERA MURAD JAMALI: Four people, including two revenue officials, were killed in a head-on collision between a car and a truck on the Quetta-Sukkur national highway near the Notal area of Nasirabad district on Saturday.

Levies officials said that four people belonging to the Sohbatpur area were on their way to their village from Quetta when a Mazda truck rammed into their car. All the four men died on the spot and their car was destroyed. Levies personnel rushed to the site and retrieved the bodies from the wreckage of the car and shifted them to the district hospital.

The deceased were identified as patwaris Ataullah and Mashuq Ali, Inayatullah and Mohammad Noman. The bodies were handed over to heirs after medico-legal formalities.

The Levies Force has registered a case against the truck driver and started investigation.
