Interesting finish on cards

LAHORE, Nov 11: Half-centuries by Ashfaq Ahmed and Imran Qadir helped Lahore Shalimar remain in contention against Rawalpindi as their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match heading towards an interesting finish on Friday.

Ashfaq hit 82 with 12 boundaries while Imran scored 54, cracking 10 fours, as Lahore Shalimar made 256 in their second innings setting the visitors an achieveable target of 153.

Ashfaq and Imran also added 97 runs in the second- wicket partnership.
