CHAGAI: Speakers at a seminar have urged the people to get themselves vaccinated against coronavirus in order to prevent its resurgence.

The seminar titled ‘Awareness about vaccination against coronavirus and health issues’ was organised by the Health Department and the district administration at the Government Boys High School, Dalbandin.

Speaking on the occasion, Dalbandin Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Waris, District Health Officer Dr Kahoor Khan Baloch, Tehsildar Akbar Ali Mazarzai, District Support Manager of the Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative Wahab Baloch, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf local leader Malik Amanullah Notezai, National Party’s district president Atif Baloch and tribal elders Haji Inayatullah Notezai and Malik Khuda Bakhsh Siapad said that vaccination and following SOPs (standard operating procedures) were effective ways to prevent further spread of coronavirus and save precious lives.

They said coronavirus was a fatal virus which needed to be dealt properly, adding that vaccination was aimed at making the human immunity system stronger which could combat the disease.
