Indoor, outdoor events allowed only for fully vaccinated people in Sindh

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Thursday further relaxed coronavirus restrictions across the province for 15 days from Friday (today), allowing indoor and outdoor gatherings, including weddings.

As per the new set of Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs), indoor and outdoor gatherings are allowed only for fully vaccinated individuals with a maximum limit of 200 and 400 people respectively.

According to a home department notification, Sunday will be a closed day in Karachi Division while Friday in all other divisions of Sindh.

It said that all market and business activities would continue till 10pm on working days of the week while essential services operators, including pharmacies, petrol pumps, CNG stations, LPG outlets, standalone grocery shops and fish, meat, chicken, vegetable, fruit vendors, bakeries and e-commerce, could operate round the week.
