CHARSADDA: Renowned social and political figure and Khudai Khidmatgar, Mian Ajmal Shah Kakakhel, was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard here in Sardheri village.

His ‘Qul’ will be held today (Thursday).

The deceased was the brother of former minister Mian Jamal Shah Kakakhel and grandfather of Charsadda ANP leader Mian Kamran Jalil Shah.

Ajmal Shah Kakakhel got his earlier education at his native town and then completed higher education from Aitchison College, Lahore.

He was a close aide of ANP central president Asfandyar Wali Khan and also remained part of Khudai Khidmatgar Tehreek.

His funeral was attended by a large number of people.
