LAHORE: The Millat Park police have registered a criminal case against three suspects for allegedly gang-raping a girl in a local hotel.

The police claimed to have taken into custody one of the three suspects while raids were being conducted for the arrest of others who had fled the scene.

A police official said girl (M) alleged that suspect (Z) had invited her to attend a ‘dance party’ he and his friends had arranged in the area.

He said as she reached there, the suspects took her to a room of a hotel where two of them allegedly raped her for seven days. The police official said the girl alleged that the suspects also snatched Rs600,000 from her.

He said a case had been registered against the three young men and the girl taken to a hospital for her medical examination.
