2 brothers among four killed

BANNU, Nov 7: Gunmen shot dead four men, two of them brothers, who were riding in a car near Tor Kakki area here on Monday. Two other persons were wounded in the attack.

The slain men were identified as Umar, his brother Ayaz, driver Hameedullah and Nisar.

The four men were going to Gandi Khankhel when the alleged assailants, Sifatullah, Nazir, Panas Ali and Mirqad Ayaz, opened fire on their car.

They were taken to a hos-

pital where they were pronounced dead on arrival. Two other people were injured in the attack.

The motive behind the killing was stated to be old enmity between the two parties.

The Kakki police station has registered a case against the four accused and started investigations.
