The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced that unvaccinated teaching and non-teaching staff of the province's public schools will not be allowed entry to educational institutions and considered absent from duty.

A notification issued by the provincial Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education says the order also applies to other employees of the department.

It adds that in case of non-compliance with the directive, the salaries of the staff would not be deducted but disciplinary action would be initiated against them.
