LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has expressed resolve to leave no stone unturned to solve people’s problems and provide them with relief.

He was addressing an open court at his office on Saturday.

On his directive, the secretaries, police officers and officials of 15 departments of south Punjab were also present while omen from the far-flung areas also attended the open court.

Mr Buzdar said that solving public issues was his responsibility and he would not rest until the people’s issues were resolved at their doorsteps, especially of those residing in neglected parts of the province.

An elderly woman presented a picture of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the chief minister while a woman artist presented him with a pencil sketch she had made of him.

The people expressing their views on the forum said that no one could ever think of entering the CM office in the past and Mr Buzdar had set an example of the public service by opening the doors of his office to the common man.

According to a statement, CM Buzdar said that for the first time in the history of Punjab, the neglected areas had been included in the mainstream.

“The incumbent government was ensuring the change in Punjab which had been promised by PM Imran Khan. The government doesn’t care about those who criticise for the sake of criticism as public service is our mission.”

The chief minister said his government did not believe in the politics of accusation.

He added he did not waste his time on the baseless allegations of the opponents and those leveling baseless allegations were conspiring to halt the process of progress and prosperity of the people.

CM Buzdar said that he did not believe in self-projection like the rulers of the past and was continuing the service of the people with the help of his team.
