GUJRANWALA, Nov 6: Three friends drowned while three others were rescued when their car plunged into a canal in Kasoki, Hafizabad, on Friday. Reports said five friends — Allah Rakha Butt, Muhammad Adnan, Muhammad Suleman, Ahmad Butt and Safdar Ali — visited their friend Irfan’s house in Hafizabad. They were returning home when their car plunged into a canal near Kasoki.
As a result, Allah Rakha, Adnan and Irfan drowned while the other three were rescued. The bodies of Adnan and Irfan were fished out.
