Sindh has reported 1,702 new cases in the last 24 hours, up from 1,463 a day earlier, taking the tally of infections to 424,120.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, the province's death toll has risen to 6,713 with the confirmation of 86 more fatalities. Fifteen deaths occurred over the last 24 hours while the rest were reported late, it added.

A total of 19,971 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the statement.
