ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court office has asked its staff members to furnish by Aug 15 their income and assets declaration from July 2020 to June 2021.

According to an office memorandum dated June 29, the office of the Assistant Registrar Administration had communicated to all the staff members, officers and officials of the apex court to submit their income and assets declaration forms for the last financial year.

The office has also provided a pro forma with a directive for its staff members to complete the document in all aspects which should be furnished before Aug 15 in a sealed envelope stating “Declaration of the Income Assets” and addressed to the Assistant Registrar Administration.

The memorandum has cautioned that the failure to furnish the declaration of assets and income would entail a disciplinary action against the delinquent officer or official.

The memorandum has also observed that during previous years, the declaration of income and assets forms of some of the employees were not duly filled; besides, some necessary information was also missing.

This tendency defeated the purpose of the assets forms, the memorandum said, adding that the staff members were required to furnish complete information about their assets and income, the memorandum said.
