Sindh has reported 2,170 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising the provincial tally to 396,918.
Moreover, the daily situation report issued by the chief minister's office confirmed the deaths of 42 more patients due to the virus. The death toll now stands at 6,168.
The report added that 18,223 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, returning a positivity rate of 11.9 per cent.
