LAHORE, Oct 31: The Shabab-i-Milli will organize an “Eid caravan” on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the city to collect donations for quake victims.

Ahmad Salman Baloch, Lahore chapter president of the organization, told a press conference here on Monday that two vehicles would pass through important city roads and intersections to collect donations from traders as well as passers-by.

At least 1,000 Eid packets would be prepared out of these donations, he said.

Each packet would contain five kg each of rice and sugar, one kg of lentils, biscuits, one blanket and Rs2,000 in cash, he added.

The consignment would be delivered to the quake-hit people in Muzaffarabad and Bagh districts on Eid day.
