The number of Covid-19 deaths in Sindh has crossed the 6,000 mark after the province reported 30 fatalities during the last 24 hours. The provincial death toll currently stands at 6,001.

According to an update from the chief minister’s office, Sindh reported 2,772 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours — down from 2,862 a day earlier. The new infections have taken the provincial tally to 382,865.

A total of 18,267 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, while 607 more patients recovered from the disease.
