GB's Covid tally crosses 8,000

Gilgit-Baltistan's coronavirus cases have crossed 8,000 after 73 infections were reported during the last 24 hours. The new total is 8,008.

Four more coronavirus-related deaths in the region have taken the total number of fatalities to 137.

Meanwhile, Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir have collectively reported 531 coronavirus cases and four deaths during this period.

A breakdown is as follows:

  • Islamabad: 343 cases, 2 deaths
  • AJK: 188 cases, 2 deaths
  • GB: 73 cases, 4 deaths
