RAWALPINDI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has directed its employees and their families to get themselves vaccinated against Covid-19 by July 31.

A circular issued by the director general Civil Aviation Authority said: “All staff members must get vaccinated by July 31, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the premises of the office and airport from Aug 1.”

In this regard, special arrangements have already been made for vaccination at different locations for employees and their dependent family members in collaboration with the health authorities.

The director general asked the employees to at least get the first dose, adding that their absence from the service shall be treated as without pay and allowance.

It further said that all the respective heads of the unit should submit a list of employees and their families who have been vaccinated to the human resource directorate on July 19.
