PPP leaders exchange fists

LAHORE, Oct 29: PPP Lahore chapter’s two office-bearers exchanged fists in the presence of other party leaders here on Saturday, after which the junior one was suspended from his office for insulting his senior.

PPP leaders were present at the office of provincial president Qasim Zia to give him cheques for relief operations in AJK. Suddenly, Secretary-General Samiullah Khan and additional secretary-general Sohail Malik first exchanged hot words and then fists.

Naveed Chaudhry, Haji Azizur Rehman Chan and others were also present.

Haji Chan, the president of the party’s Lahore chapter, suspended Sohail Malik from his office.
