Man held for ‘sexually assaulting’ boy

TAXILA: The Wah Saddar Police on Saturday arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a mentally disturbed boy.

Sub divisional police officer of Taxila circle DSP Tahir Kazmi said victim’s father reported to police that his 14-year-old son, who is mentally disturbed, was playing outside his house when a resident of the area took him to an under construction house where he allegedly raped him.

After the incident, the victim narrated his ordeal to his family who took the boy to the local police station. After a medical examination at Taxila Tehsil Headquarters Hospital confirmed the assault, police arrested the accused.
