KARACHI: A soldier of the Frontier Corps (FC) embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack on a water tanker in Balochistan.

Sepoy Kifaitullah, a resident of Sibi, embraced martyrdom when terrorists through a pressurised improvised explosive device on motorway M-8 near Shapak, district Hoshab, attacked the water tanker, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

An operation was launched to apprehend the perpetrators of the attack, the ISPR said, adding that such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies, would not sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. It said security forces were determined to neutralise their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.
