True ideals

Published

THIS refers to the letter ‘Tribal terrorism’ (May 27) which is right in asserting that tribal clashes are quite common in Sindh. However, tribal clashes and/or rivalries are also common in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where, unfortunately, the culture of carrying guns is quite prevalent and widely accepted.

The government should make due effort to sensitise the masses about the significance of education, enlightenment, diversity and tolerance. These four ideals were initially expounded by none other than the likes of the Quaid-i-Azam, poet-philosopher Allama Iqbal, and candle-bearer of knowledge Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.
