GUJAR KHAN: Two persons were killed and as many seriously injured when oxygen cylinder exploded at an oxygen filling factory in Rawat on Saturday.

According to details, cylinder blast took place in a factory situated in industrial area of Rawat on Saturday morning.

While talking to Dawn, Rescue 1122 spokesperson Rafaqat Zaman said the deceased had been identified as Mohammad Adnan,40, a resident of Rawat and Manthar Ali, 43, a resident of Morgah.

He said that the injured were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment while bodies were shifted to DHQ Hospital Rawapindi.

The factory provides oxygen the different hospitals of Islamabad and Rawapindi.
