QUETTA: Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has expressed anger over non-recovery of dues from parliamentarians, government officials and other people who have stayed at the Balochistan House, Islamabad.

Officials said here on Thursday that the chief minister summoned the secretary concerned and asked him to explain why the dues pending for a long time were not recovered from the defaulters despite the Balochistan High Court’s orders.

He directed the Services and General Administration secretary to collect these dues without any further delay.

“Recovery of government dues from the parliamentarians, government officials and other people is the responsibility of the S&GAD department and it has to implement the orders of the court without delay,” he said.

Mr Alyani said the government believed in rule of law and it would ensure implementation of the high court’s orders. A list of the MNAs, MPAs, senators, provincial ministers and government officials was released to the media which disclosed that they are defaulters of millions of rupees.
