KASUR: Three members of a family, including two women, were killed as a pick-up van hit a motorcycle on Sunday on Changa Manga Road near Bhoay Asil.

Muhammad Naseem along with his wife Shazia Bibi and sister jumi Bibi was on his way to Kot Radha Kishan on his bike on Changa Manga Road. Near Bhoay Asil, a speeding pick-up coming from the opposite side collided with the bike. As a result, all the three riders died on the spot.

The driver of the van managed his escape, leaving his vehicle there.

After the incident, the relatives of the deceased staged a demonstration and set the van on fire.

On the assurance of the police, the protesters dispersed. Police have shifted the bodies to the hospital and started investigation.
