Lahore tie evenly poised

LAHORE, Oct 23: Fine bowling by pacemen Fahad Masood and Aizaz Cheema helped Lahore Shalimar take a 50-run lead on first innings against Sialkot on an eventful second day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match at the LCCA Ground on Sunday.

But the home team lost advantage when they finished at 109-6 in the second innings on a day when 16 wickets fell. They have an overall lead of 159.

Fahad finished with four for 50 and Aizaz three for 26 as Sialkot were all out for 128 after resuming at 26 for one.
