Islamabad Blues win

ISLAMABAD, Oct 23: Islamabad Blues were comfortable winners in a one-day tournament organised by the Islamabad Rugby Football Club to raise funds for the Oct 8 earthquake victims.

In the tournament held at the F-10/4 ground, the Blues defeated British High Commission Expats 22-15 in the decider.

The third team in the competition was Islamabad Yellow while there were two under-19 sides which competed separately.

Organisers said that they had been able to generate almost Rs 400,000 which will either be donated to the President’s Relief Fund, Edhi Trust or an NGO.
