LAHORE: PML-N President Shehbaz Sharifsays the party will not allow an anti-people budget and will do everything to stop its approval.

He issued special instructions to the Party Advisory Council on Thursday regarding parliament’s budget session. He said a pre-budget seminar should be held so that the people could be made aware of the real state of national economy.

“It is important how the government is altering and fudging statistics.”

He said due to figure fudging in wheat procurement by the PTI in the past, the country suffered heavy damage and yet this government is making the dangerous mistake again. He said the people were paying the price for the economic embezzlement and statistical dishonesty.

Meanwhile, the PMLN president extended felicitations to the nation on the eve of Youm-i-Takbir. He said those who made the country a nuclear power are the heroes. He directed the party leaders and workers to celebrate the day with zeal and national enthusiasm.
