Sindh has reported 1,099 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising the provincial tally to 314,141.
Moreover, the daily situation report issued by the Chief Minister's Office confirmed the deaths of 22 more patients due to the virus. The death toll now stands at 4988.
The report added that 14,529 were conducted in the last 24 hours, returning a positivity rate of 7.56 per cent.
