CHARSADDA: PML-N leader retired Capt Safdar alleged here on Monday that economy was in ruins while inflation, unemployment and corruption were rampant in the country after people’s mandate was stolen in 2018 general elections.

Talking to journalists at PLM-N office in Charsadda after offering Fateha for the departed soul of Begum Naseem Wali Khan at Wali Bagh, he said that some hidden forces were running the government.

He was received by ANP leader Lawangeen Wali Khan. He also laid floral wreath on the grave of Begum Neseem Wali and paid rich tributes to her struggle for democracy. He was accompanied by former governor Iqbal Zaffar Jhagra, Mian Humayun Shah Kakakhel and other PML-N leaders.

Mr Safdar said that opposition parties were making efforts to get rid of the incompetent rulers.

He said that people were fed up with the PTI government and wanted PML-N to bring out the country of the present crises.

He said that peace in Afghanistan was vital for peace in the region.

Meanwhile, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, deputy chairman of Senate, federal minister and senators visited Wali Bagh the other day to condole death of Begum Naseem Wali Khan.
