KCR and ads

Published May 24, 2021

THIS refers to the report ‘Asad asks for marketing of KCR to woo private sector’ (May 5). The KCR will operate across Karachi and will be an ideal opportunity for multinational companies to advertise their products on what will be a huge moving billboard. With billboards banned by the Supreme Court, this will be an ideal opportunity.

The trains can be named after the brands with their advertisements on the bogies which will grab the attention of not only those who are travelling, but also of those watching the train chugging along.

The paint and upkeep should be the responsibility of these companies and Pakistan Railways can earn good returns.
