TOBA TEK SINGH: An oxygen storage tank will be installed on a self-help basis at the DHQ Hospital having 15 tons storage capacity.

According to a District Health Authority official, the project will ensure uninterrupted oxygen supply to patients, specially Covid victims.

He said local philanthropists were requested to donate funds for the purpose and so for Rs8.3m had been collected, including Rs2m contribution by hospital’s patients welfare society.

LAND GRAB: Pirmahal police registered a case against eight people on the charge of attempting to occupy a Christian community graveyard in the town.

A municipal committee official told police when he and his staff reached the graveyard, some people were demolishing its boundary wall. Police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
