KARACHI: Senior virologist Dr Syed Muhammad Khalil Chishty passed away here on Wednesday evening. He was in his early 90s.

Dr Chishty was laid to rest in Sakhi Hasan graveyard after Zohr prayers on Thursday. Soyem will be held on Saturday between Asr and Maghreb, for gents at Jama Masjid Block A, North Nazimabad, and for ladies at his residence, B-210, Block A, North Nazimabad.
