QUETTA, Jan 22: The chief of Jamhoori Watan Party, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, has convened the central executive committee (CEC) meeting of the party in Dera Bugti on Jan 31 to discuss important issues and review the situation prevailing in the country.

A spokesman for the JWP said that organizational matters would be discussed at the meeting and a date would be fixed for the party convention to elect new central and provincial office-bearers.

Members of the JWP central committee, in a meeting presided over by Senior Vice-President Khuda-i-Noor, expressed their concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the province. It also demanded that the government should take steps for early recovery of Dr Pervez Yousaf’s seven-year-old daughter, Ambreen.
